Through the voices of practitioners working in our field in Oregon, the Mental Health Providers PAC identifies our priorities in the legislature and lifts the voice of psychologists, therapists, prescribers and others working in mental health. This page highlights those priorities.

Provider Bill of Rights Lives!
With input from many group and individual private practices, the provider bill of rights in an audit seeks to impose restrictions on insurer and coordinated care organization audits of claims submitted by behavioral health treatment providers. It is sponsored by Rob Nosse and will be re-introduced in the 2027 Legislative Session.

Preparing for HR1
Beginning in late 2026 and continuing into 2028, OHA will implement significant changes to programs resulting from multi-billion-dollar cuts to federal funding. More info for Members HERE. Keep coming back for updates!
